The invention relates to an antimicrobial composition that comprises a) one or more C3 to C5 alkane dioles-1,3, b) one or more aromatic alcohols and c) one or more C8 to C14 alkanols. A preferred component a) is propane diol-1,3. Preferred components b) are phenoxyethanol and phenethyl alcohol. A preferred component c) is undecanol-1. Optionally, an antioxidant c) is present, which is preferably Vitamin E. In a preferred embodiment the composition is a concentrate and is suitable for the antimicrobial finishing of dermatological, cosmetic and pharmaceutical products.Linvention porte sur une composition antimicrobienne qui comprend a) un ou plusieurs alcane-1,3-diols en C3 à C5, b) un ou plusieurs alcools aromatiques et c) un ou plusieurs alcanols en C8 à C14. Le propane-1,3-diol est un composant a) préféré. Le phénoxyéthanol et lalcool phényléthylique sont des composants b) préférés. Le undécan-1-ol est un composant c) préféré.
