An access assembly (200) for insertion through tissue, the access assembly (200) comprising: a flexible outer sleeve (110) having an upper rim (114) formed on a proximal end, a lower rim (116) formed on a distal end and defining a longitudinal opening (113) extending therebetween andan inflatable member (220) positioned within the longitudinal opening (113) of the flexible outer sleeve (110), the inflatable member (220) including a first inflatable lobe (222a,) attached to a second inflatable lobe (222b) at a common point prior to inflation of the inflatable lobes, the first inflatable lobe (222a) and second inflatable lobe (222b) defining a longitudinal slot (223) therebetween configured to selectively receive at least one surgical device therethrough.
