PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of maintaining a tomographic angle of a certain value or more for photographing a tomographic image without simultaneously operating an X-ray apparatus or a two-dimensional detector at the time of photographing.SOLUTION: An X-ray photographing apparatus comprises: an X-ray source with a multiple of X-ray foci an X-ray detector for detecting the X rays emitted from the X-ray foci and transmitted through a subject control means for controlling the X-ray source and the X-ray detector selection means which selects the sets of X-ray foci having intersection angles of the emitted X rays in a region of interest of the subject matching a predetermined angle, from among the X-ray foci which can, of the plurality of X-ray foci, pass through a photographing region, i.e. the region of interest, and project an image on the X-ray detector and determination means for determining the X-ray foci to be used for photographing, from among the X-ray foci interposed between sets of X-ray foci selected by the selection means.
