A technique of simply projecting an image of a specific part onto a body tissue may not be sufficient as a support technique for a user in surgery or pathological examination. An image processing system includes an infrared light irradiation device that irradiates biological tissue with infrared light, a light detection unit that detects light emitted from the biological tissue irradiated with infrared light, and a detection result of the light detection unit. A control device that generates an image of the biological tissue using a display device, a display device that displays the generated image, and a projection device that irradiates the biological tissue with the first light, and the control device displays the image of the biological tissue. In response to the input to the display device to be displayed, the irradiation of the first light by the projection device is controlled so as to reflect the input content to the biological tissue (see FIG. 1).特定の部位の映像を単に身体組織に投影するのみの技術は、手術や病理検査等におけるユーザに対する支援技術としては十分ではない場合がある。画像処理システムは、生物組織に赤外光を照射する赤外光照射装置と、赤外光が照射されている生物組織から放射される光を検出する光検出部と、光検出部による検出結果を用いて生物組織の画像を生成する制御装置と、生成された画像を表示する表示装置と、生物組織に第一光を照射する投影装置と、を備え、制御装置は、生物組織の画像を表示する表示装置に対する入力に応答して、生物組織に対して入力の内容を反映するように投影装置による第一光の照射を制御する（図１参照）。
