The chamber or carrier (9) has housings (10A, 10B) partly surrounding a medical instrument. The housing comprises strip conductors (13A, 18A) made of electrical conductive material for converting electrical power into heat energy. Two electric contacts (19, 19A, 20, 20A) supply the strip conductors with electrical power. The strip conductors comprise a carrier layer and/or a covering layer made of dielectric material to electrically isolate the strip conductors. The strip conductors are arranged at an inner side (11) and/or an outer side (12) of the housings. An independent claim is also included for a treatment device for treatment of a medical instrument.
