PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent adhesion and deposition of mud scattered vertically widely toward the rear by rear wheels on each part of a seedling planting apparatus in a rice transplanter with which the seedling planting apparatus is freely liftably and lowerably connected to the rear part of a traveling machine body.SOLUTION: A mudguard cover 55 for receiving mud scattered backward by the rear wheels 2 of the traveling machine body 3 is arranged ahead of the seedling planting apparatus 6 from the lower part of the seedling planting apparatus to the upper corresponding part of a rear wheel shaft center x.
