PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which is high in diffusibility of liquid and can effectively absorb urine by SAP.SOLUTION: In an absorbent article provided with an upper layer absorber 30 and a lower layer absorber 40 that are layered in a thickness direction between a liquid-permeable top sheet 10 and a liquid-impermeable back sheet 20, the upper layer absorber 30 has an upper side opening 31, and the lower layer absorber 40 has a lower side opening 41 that extends in a longitudinal direction and overlaps at least partially the upper side opening 31. Between the upper layer absorber 30 and the lower layer absorber 40 is provided a SAP layer 50 formed by a plurality of superabsorbent polymers (SAP) being arranged.
