PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric wire supporting instrument that can freely adjust the height of an electric wire in an electric fence support.SOLUTION: The electric wire supporting instrument 1 includes: a cylindrical body 2 in which an opening 3 is formed on both ends and a plurality of slits 4 are arranged on one end approximately parallel to the central axial line a cap member 5 detachably attached to one end of the body 2, which has a diameter smaller than that of the one end of the body 2 and a projection member 6 formed to project from an outer surface of the body 2. The cap member 5 also has a cylindrical shape whose both ends are open.
