The present invention relates to a garlic seed planting apparatus which can inject a root growth promoting agent or a sterilizer, remove soil in a seed planting cup at the same time, prevent garlic seeds from being planted in an inverted position, and cover the garlic seeds planted in advance with soil by widening the seed planting cup, thereby increasing the germination rate. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the garlic seed planting apparatus includes: a seed distribution unit (20) which is arranged on the upper part of a frame (10) and supplies the garlic seeds (g) one by one； and a seed planting unit (30) which is arranged on the lower part of the seed distribution unit (20), receives the garlic seeds, forms seed planting grooves (H) on the ground surface while moving the received garlic seeds to the ground surface, and has the seed planting cup (32) attached thereto radially to drop the garlic seeds therein to the planting grooves (H) after being widened.
