Provided are a method and device for covered cultivation with a sunshade net in a tea garden. The device comprises a sunshade net rack and a double-layer sunshade net retraction and release mechanism. The sunshade net rack is composed of main pillars (1) and auxiliary pillars (2) connected by means of dragline steel wires and fixing steel wires. The distance between two auxiliary pillars (2) can reach 40-60 m, wherein the large span is suitable for tea gardens with a large area. The double-layer sunshade net retraction and release mechanism is driven by an electric motor (91). Net ropes are retracted and released by means of the sunshade net being driven by a rope-winding barrel, thereby accomplishing the retraction and release of the sunshade net. A lower-layer sunshade net is 2-2.2 m above the ground, and is convenient for the production operation of tea gardens. The shading rate of one layer of the double-layer sunshade net is comparatively lower, and that of the other layer is comparatively higher. During spring and autumn, the one with a low shading rate can be used the one with a high shading rate can be used in summer and winter and in winter, the two layers of the sunshade net can even be used together, thereby decreasing freezing and damage from frost or low temperatures. When managed and used correctly, the method and device contribute to the improvement of the growth environment of the tea garden throughout the year.
