FIELD: agriculture； machine building.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural machine building and is intended for steam treatment of soil and exclusion of working ability when destroying weeds throughout the width of cable cultivator. Cable cultivator for solid tillage consists of frame with three vertical posts rigidly fixed on it. Stands are installed with offset in staggered order and are connected to each other in lower part by single cable forming arrow-shape with constant process angle. Cultivator is a module of a technical tool for soil treatment, a hitch device for connection to a tractor. Rear posts of the second row of the tillage module have devices for removal and cutting of combed weeds coming off the rope, consisting of a triangular plate with angle of 90°at its top with two bushings installed along the edges of its hypotenuse. Plate has rigid connection – welded structure – with pad, which forms angle β=π-α/2 in conjugation with plate. Length of the hypotenuse is defined as 0.2 L. Plate has knife sharpening over the greater leg, while the bushings holding the plate on the rope have an inner diameter d=dr+0.3, where dr is the diameter of the rope. Length l of sleeves is 0.03–0.04 of the length of the generatrix L. Small plate of the plate is defined by ratio 0.1 L. To increase stability of movement in the soil of the device for removal and cutting of combed weeds, the rope is passed through bushings 10.
