In addition, the produced spirulina contains a very high content of carotenoids, thereby being widely used in health functional foods, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and feed industries.본 발명은 스피룰리나 생산증진을 위한 미네랄 함유 배지조성물 및 이를 이용한 스피룰리나 대량생산 방법에 관한 것으로, 구체적으로 본 발명은 NaHCO3, K2HPO4, NaNO3, K2SO4, NaCl, MgSO4*7H2O 및 CaCl2을 포함하는 스피룰리나 대량생산을 위한 배지조성물 및 상기 배지조성물을 이용한 스피룰리나의 대량생산방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 배지조성물을 이용한 스피룰리나의 배양은 일반 배양배지에 함유된 다양한 성분을 모두 사용하지 않아도 되므로 경제적인 효과가 있고, 스피룰리나의 생산수율을 증진시킬 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 생산된 스피룰리나는 매우 높은 함량의 카로티노이드를 함유하고 있어 건강 기능성 식품, 의약품, 화장품 및 사료 산업에 널리 활용될 수 있는 효과가 있다.
