PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the damage on hair in the case of shampoo during hair dyeing and at the time of hair dyeing completion, by moderately returning hair after a hair dyeing treatment to the vicinity of neutrality while suppressing the outflow of the fat of hair.SOLUTION: An aftertreatment agent for hair dyeing treatment is used, which includes (A) a pH buffering agent selected from among (a-1) a pH buffering agent comprising an organic acid and an alkaline chemical, (a-2) a pH buffering agent comprising an organic acid and an organic acid salt and (a-3) a pH buffering agent comprising an organic acid, an alkaline chemical and an organic acid salt, (B) 30-60 wt.% of an oil solution which is liquid at 25°C, (C) 20-30 wt.% of a nonionic surfactant, and (D) 5.0-20 wt.% of water, provided that the total amount of the aftertreatment agent is 100 wt.%.
