PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate an operation by causing an opening facing a spool not to be narrow and causing an adjusting member and a clutch operation member to coordinate with each other even if the adjusting member of an electric reel is provided to a reel body.SOLUTION: An electric reel 100 includes a reel body 1, a handle 2, a spool 10, a motor 12, an adjusting member 5, and reel control part 70. The reel body 1 includes a frame 7 having a first side plate 7a, a first side cover 8a for covering the outside of the first side plate 7a, and a fishing rod attaching part 7g provided to the frame 7. The spool 10 is provided to the reel body 1 rotatably. The motor 12 drives the spool 10 rotatably. The adjusting member 5 is provided movably between the first side plate 7a and the first side cover 8a. The adjusting member 5 is disposed behind a drive shaft 30, and above a spool shaft 14 away from the fishing rod attaching part 7g.
