PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a side cover hard to be deformed even if a strong force acts on an edge part.SOLUTION: A reel body 1 of a dual-bearing reel R includes a frame 5, a first side cover 6, and a reinforcing member 14. The frame 5 has a first side plate 8, a second side plate 9, and a first connection part 10a and a second connection part 10b. The first side plate 8 is mounted with a driving shaft 30 rotated by the operation of a handle 2. The second side plate 9 is arranged with a distance from the first side plate 8, and a spool 12 is arranged between the second side plate 9 and the first side plate 8. The first connection part 10a and the second connection part 10b connect the first side plate 8 and the second side plate 9 to each other. The first side cover 6 has an edge part 6a and a cover part 6b. The edge part 6a is connectable to the outer peripheral part of the first side plate 8. The cover part 6b is formed integrally with the edge part 6a and covers the outside of the first side plate 8 so that a space is formable between it and the first side plate 8.
