An agent is provided for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). The agent uses chemical exchange of heavy hydrogen on comparing MRI images. An isotonic-pressure normal saline solution with deuterium oxide (D2O) is made. The solution is used for obtaining the MRI images through intravenous injection. An exchange between hydrogen and deuterium happens and thus a solution of hydrogen deuterium oxide (HDO) is obtained. After such an exchange, MRI images are compared for differences. Thus, a novel, non-radioactive, non-toxic and non-invasive MRI agent is provided for people who are allergic to general imaging agents.一種以重氫之化學交換效應作為核磁共振之顯影劑,係以重水(Deuterium oxide, D2O)製作等滲透壓之生理食鹽水,再以靜脈注射,利用核磁共振影像(Magnetic Resonance Imaging, MRI)觀察比較影像中之組織亮度及對比變化。藉此,提供以重氫之化學交換效應作為核磁共振影像對比機制,將其應用於動態核磁共振上作為顯影劑以實現出氫氘(H-D)交換半重水(HDO)變化之對比影像,可對於現有核磁共振顯影劑過敏之病人,提供另外一項快速、無輻射、無毒害且非侵入性之檢測技術之選擇,具有潛力成為未來核磁掃描之臨床生理指標之一。1...訊號變化曲線
