PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus capable of properly performing collection of a multi-slice image.SOLUTION: A magnetic resonance imaging apparatus includes a control part, and a lead-out part. The control part executes: first imaging for collecting first imaging data in a range including a target and a diaphragm second imaging for collecting second imaging data including the target in a first respiration time phase while accompanied by application of a movement detection pulse detecting a respiration time phase and third imaging data including the target in a second respiration time phase different from the first respiration time phase and third imaging for collecting fourth imaging data. The lead-out part detects a position of the diaphragm from the first imaging data, and leads out an application region of the movement detection pulse on the basis of the detected position. The control part detects the respiration time phase by the application of the movement detection pulse in the execution of the second imaging, and controls collection timing of the second imaging data and the third imaging data on the basis of the detected respiration time phase.COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT【課題】マルチスライス像の収集を適切に行うことができる磁気共鳴イメージング装置を提供すること。【解決手段】実施形態に係る磁気共鳴イメージング装置は、制御部と、導出部とを備える。制御部は、対象及び横隔膜を含む範囲の第1撮像データを収集する第1撮像と、呼吸時相を検出する動き検出パルスの印加を伴いながら、第1呼吸時相における前記対象を含む第2撮像データ及び前記第1呼吸時相とは異なる第2呼吸時相における前記対象を含む第3撮像データを収集する第2撮像と、第4撮像データを収集する第3撮像とを実行する。導出部は、前記第1撮像データから前記横隔膜の位置を検出し、検出した位置に基づき、前記動き検出パルスの印加領域を導出する。制御部は、前記第2撮像の実行において、前記動き検出パルスの印加によって呼吸時相を検出し、検出された呼吸時相に基づいて、前記第2撮像データ及び前記第3撮像データの収集タイミングを制御する。【選択図】図1
