A process for preparing a redispersible powder comprising nanoparticles of a water-insoluble organic pesticide, the process comprising the steps of: (i) preparing an oil-in-water emulsion combining a water-insoluble organic pesticide, a non-halogenated organic solvent immiscible in volatile water, water and at least one surfactant wherein the emulsion is a microemulsion that has a droplet size of less than 30 nm and forms spontaneously； or wherein the emulsion is a nanoemulsion having a droplet size of less than 300 nm formed by combining a water insoluble organic pesticide, a non-halogenated organic solvent immiscible in volatile water, water and at least one surfactant using high pressure homogenizer or high shear instrument； and (ii) removing the non-halogenated organic solvent immiscible in volatile water and water to form the redispersible powder comprising nanoparticles having a diameter of 5 to 300 nm, wherein the diameter of the nanoparticles is determined by volume distribution or by number distribution using a dynamic light scattering instrument, and wherein said nanoparticles are in a particulate form.Un proceso para preparar un polvo redispersable que comprende nanopartículas de un pesticida orgánico insoluble en agua, el proceso comprendiendo los pasos de: (i) preparar una emulsión de aceite en agua combinando un pesticida orgánico insoluble en agua, un solvente orgánico no halogenado inmiscible en agua volátil, agua y al menos un surfactante en donde la emulsión es una microemulsión que tiene un tamaño de gotita de menos de 30 nm y se forma espontáneamente； o en donde la emulsión es una nanoemulsión que tiene un tamaño de gotita de menos de 300 nm formada combinando un pesticida orgánico insoluble en agua, un solvente orgánico no halogenado inmiscible en agua volátil, agua y al menos un surfactante usando homogeneizador a alta presión o instrumento de cizalladura alta； y (ii) eliminar el solvente orgánico no halogenado inmiscible en agua volátil y el a
