PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rack transport device improving workability when transporting a rack device.SOLUTION: A rack transport device 1 includes: a bar material 2 the end part of which is inserted into a hole made at the side surface of the leg part of a rack device to be fitted a raising and falling mechanism 3 raising and falling the bar material and a movable carriage 4 on which the raising and falling mechanism is placed. The bar material is formed into a swan neck-like shape going upward at least once in an extending direction toward an intermediate part from the end part. With respect to the bar material, the diameter of the tip end of the bar material is smaller than that of a part getting in contact with the hole while the bar material is inserted into the hole.
