PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trocar apparatus with a camera capable of smoothly performing a slide operation of an outer cylinder.SOLUTION: A trocar apparatus 12 with a camera includes a trocar 16 with a camera and a trocar shaft 17. The trocar 16 with a camera is composed of an inner cylinder member 16A and an outer cylinder member 16B. A pipe part inner cylinder 31A of the inner cylinder member 16A is provided with a retractable camera part 36. The camera part 36 is biased by a spring. The spring and the outer cylinder member 16B constitute an expansion mechanism for causing the camera part 36 to pop up to an expanded position and be expanded. The outer cylinder member 16B includes a lock release operation member 46. The inner cylinder member 16A is provided with an engagement part 47.
