PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a field traveling device and a field management system in which the accuracy of a position in a field obtaining crops can be improved easily.SOLUTION: A field traveling device 2 is provided for traveling in a field 6 installing multiple node units 3 with RFID provided with ID for use in identifying an own machine and performing wireless transmission of the ID of the own machine by a short-range communication system having a communication range being equal to or less than a predetermined distance L.
