PURPOSE: A standing-type kimchi storage apparatus with expanded inner space is provided to store a kimchi container by changing a standard double door standing-type refrigerator to a single door, and by removing a center section divider.CONSTITUTION: A standing-type kimchi storage apparatus(10) comprises the exterior shape using a main body(20) and a main opening and closing door(30). The main body forms a main storage space(22) through an opened space inside, and stores a kimchi container(2). The main opening and closing door is assembled around the main body, and seals the main storage space while continuously touching the border of the main body. An opening part(40) is formed by one part opening of the main opening and closing door. A pocket(50), respectively corresponded to each opening part, is equipped to the end of the main opening and closing door to form a sub storage space inside. A sub opening and closing door(60) assembles around the boundary of the main opening and closing door to close the opening at once. The main storage space is equipped with a shelf(70) to store the kimchi container. The shelf is to prevent cold air leaking from the inside of the main storage space when the main opening and closing door is opened by connecting a cool air cover with a hinge.
