PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxygen concentrator made compact and having a small thickness.SOLUTION: An oxygen concentrator comprises: a pair of adsorption cylinders 21 charged with an adsorbent a concentrated oxygen gas suction pump 7 for sucking and supplying the gas which has adsorbed the nitrogen in the air and has an oxygen concentration raised and a suction pump 6 for a concentrated nitrogen gas for sucking and exhausting the gas which has a nitrogen concentration raised by ejecting the nitrogen adsorbed by an adsorbent a motor 4 for driving those two suction pumps and a passage changeover device 12 for switching passages to the individual suction cylinders. By a pressure swing adsorption method, the oxygen is condensed and supplied by adsorbing the nitrogen from the air. The paired adsorption cylinders 21 are arranged in parallel. If a direction of the axes of the adsorption cylinders is an X-axis direction, and if a parallel direction of the adsorption cylinders is a Y-axis direction, a motor and two suction pumps are sequentially arranged in the Y-axis direction from the paired adsorption cylinders, and are juxtaposed in the X-direction across the drive shaft 4a of the motor.
