The purpose of this invention is to provide a polysiloxane-based macromonomer, for use in an ocular lens, that exhibits excellent compatibility with a hydrophilic component such as a hydrophilic monomer. Said polysiloxane-based macromonomer contains the following: at least one polymerizable group a polysiloxane chain, a siloxane unit being the repeat unit thereof a polyoxyethylene chain containing two or more oxyethylene groups and a polyoxyalkylene chain, an oxyalkylene group other than an oxyethylene group being the repeat unit thereof.
