PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an operator who is allowed to log on to operate a computer without requiring a log-on operation again.SOLUTION: An authentication system 50 includes an authentication device 40 mounted on the body of an operator, a terminal 20 operated by an operator, and a server 10. The terminal 20 includes a reading unit 24 and a control unit 21. The reading unit 24 detects the authentication device 40 present within a predetermined range, and reads authentication device management information 43 from a storage 42 of the authentication device 40.
