PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic product forming an emulsion having excellent thermal stability and aging stability to an interface between a component to be emulsified and water, etc., and giving good feeling in use and provide a method for producing the cosmetic product.SOLUTION: The cosmetic contains (A) a polysaccharide containing at least one kind of compounds selected from fucose, glucose, glucuronic acid and rhamnose as a constitution monosaccharide and having fucose and/or rhamnose in a side chain and (B) a polysaccharide containing mannose and/or glucuronic acid in a side chain. The components are used singly or in the form of a mixture in an amount of 0.01-1 wt.% based on the total weight of the cosmetic product. The cosmetic product further contains a 14-34C higher alcohol in an amount of 1-50 wt.% based on the total weight of the cosmetic product and the higher alcohol is present in an emulsified state.
