ABSTRACT: The present invention and application, discloses a pharmaceutical drug excipient / binder / disintegrant prepared through the synergistic effects of Thiriphala Kudineer (decoction) /aqueous extract provides an excellent pharmaceutical excipient /binder /disintegrant which can be used in the preparation of tablets which possesses good binding property and having improved compressibility, when utilised in wet granulation method of tablet preparation. Synergistic effects of Thiriphala improves the characteristics and the properties of the tablets when mixed. The present invention also discloses a method for obtaining tablets made into an acceptable pharmaceutical form by weight with respect to the total weight of the tablet. Tests proved that Thiriphala Kudineer (decoction) / aqueous extract is very easy to prepare and has excellent binding and disintegrating properties which is the important function for tablet and simple cost-effective method to compress good tablets. So that, drug preparation cost can be lowered, side effects of the drug are reduced, and the drug efficacy can be improved. Similarly, alcoholic extraction is prepared using Thiriphala.chooranam Which can be also used as a binding / disintegrant agent.
