PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter with transverse branches having a plurality of electrodes which enables electropotential measurement and ablation of specific regions of the heart and allows simultaneous or selective treatment of a plurality of regions.SOLUTION: A plurality of elastic branches 14 are connected to a distal segment 10 of an insertion tube 11 at different respective locations and extend transversely from the insertion tube at the respective locations.
