The present invention discloses the design, process for operability and manufacture of a cerebrospinal fluid shunt device in clinical cases detected from prenatal microcephalus. The microcephalus can be detected at 20 weeks of gestation through various imaging techniques. When a proven clinical case is present, an intrauterine surgery is performed to implant the shunt device in the fetus cranial cavity, thus allowing customizing it and its components to drain the accumulated cerebrospinal fluid from throwing out the liquid of uterus membranes by a pressure difference. The present invention possesses a particular and ergonomic design for its constant adaptation to changes in the fetus morphology through the gestation time. The interaction between its components also allows the derivation of the CSF from the ventricle of the fetus directed towards the uterine cavity of the mother, thereby its operability prevent any type of negative reflows from developing. The device is manufactured by nonconventional manufacturing techniques such as 3D printing (Selective Laser Sintering), obtaining it with the established geometries and dimensions of the patient’s morphology.
