PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weeder that is suitable for weeding a rice field and is also usable for weeding a farm or the like, and to provide a weeding unit that is loaded on the weeder.SOLUTION: The weeder includes: a plurality of outer blades 111 that are annularly formed an outer blade body 11 having a plurality of crosspieces 112 that connect the outer blades 111 concentrically with spaces apart at right angles with the body advancing direction for the purpose of introducing weeds between the outer blades 111 a spiral inner blade 12 that is concentrically or eccentrically arranged with the outer blades 111 and that, when rotated, clip the introduced weeds with the outer blades 111 and an inner blade driving means 13 that rotatably drives the spiral inner blade 12.
