PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chip for crystal lens ultrasonic emulsification suction operation excellent in capability of efficiently and smoothly breaking and suctioning a crystal lens.SOLUTION: A chip of this invention includes: a shaft (2) having first and second ends a terminal part (3) provided on the first end (21) of the shaft (2) and having an opening (4) and a suction passage (5) extending from the opening (4) of the terminal part (3) to the second end of the shaft (2). The suction passage (5) is step-wisely and/or helicoidally (53) narrowed from the opening (4) toward the shaft (2). It is preferable that one or a plurality of guide grooves (52) from the opening (4) toward the shaft (2) are formed on the inner wall of the suction passage (5).
