To provide a snore preventer capable of preventing a user from snoring by preventing vibration of the uvula and dropping of the soft palate.
SOLUTION: The snore preventer 1 is composed of a body 2 and a ventilation part 3. The body 2 is acorn-shaped, whose cross-sectional shape is oval and having a larger diameter at the center than that in either end. The cross-sectional shape of the body 2 is a round-cornered rectangle whose four corners are cut OFF in curved shapes. The size of the body 2 is such as to be smoothly fitted into the space in the users oral cavity surrounded by upper and lower teeth, tongue and hard palate and soft palate. The outer peripheral surface of the body 2 composed of an oval arc is composed of a smooth curved surface not to injure the hard palate. The length of the body 2 is set at such level that the length in the longitudinal direction is shorter than the length from the rear side of the anterior teeth to the uvula, reaching the soft palate from the rear side of the anterior teeth and that one end is disposed between the uvula and the tongue root to prevent the uvula from sinking into the airway. The ventilation part 3 is a hole formed by penetrating the body 2 at the center from one end to the other end of the body.
