PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide high branch-cutting scissors that allow a worker, even a woman or elderly with a weak grip strength, to perform high branch-cutting while reduce fatigue of the worker.SOLUTION: According to the present invention, high branch-cutting scissors 1 comprise a scissoring tool 50 provided at a proximal side portion of a pipe member 2 and operating means 20 for opening and closing a movable blade 51 of the scissoring tool 50. The operating means 20 comprises a handle support member 21 provided at a proximal end side portion of the pipe member 3, a handle member 22 rotatably supported on the handle support member 21, and transmission means 40 for transmitting an operating force of the handle member 22 to the scissoring tool 50.
