ESTERS OF IODIZED FATTY ACIDS, THE IODIZED FATTY ACIDS AND THEIR DERIVATIVES PRODUCED BY THE THE ADDITION OF HYDROGEN IODIDE IN THE APPLICATION OF ALKYLYLATED DERIVATIVES AND ALKALINE IODIDES, AND THEIR PHARMACOLOGICAL APPLICATION
The invention relates to esters of iodized fatty acids,iodized fatty acids and their derivatives which are stable and arein the form of fluid having pharmaceutical qualities. They areproduced by the addition of hydrogen iodide including reaction inorganic medium of alkylsylylized derivatives of the type oftrimethylsylylchloride or trimethylchlorosylan with alkalineiodide of the type of sodium iodide. Then, under the effect ofwater, in city hydrogen iodide acid is produced which reacts, forexample, with esters of fatty acids, in particular with methylesters of fatty acids of rape seed oil, recommended as biologicalfuel for petrol engines. The product produced is cheap and can beused for the treatment, in particular of goitre due to iodinedeficiency.16 claims
