To provide a device for correcting meandering with simplified device constitution, capable of preventing a detection part of the detection head from interfering the continuous sheet when the specifications such as dimension change and the like of the absorbent object are changed. A device for correcting meandering disposed on the production line of the absorbent object and is used for correcting meandering of continuous sheet continuously transported in the transporting direction. The device selects a continuous sheet of one specification to perform transportation among continuous sheets of a plurality of specifications with mutually different dimensions in width direction. The device comprises a sensor and a meandering correction part. The sensor has a detection part and performs detection on the position of an end part when the detection part is stopped at a stop position in the width direction set to each specification. The detection part is used for detecting the position of the end part in the width direction of the sheet. The meandering correction part corrects meandering of the continuous sheet according to the detection signal of the end part position output from the sensor. The moving mechanism for moving the detection part to the stop position comprises a motor, a signal output part, and a control part. The motor moves the detection part in the width direction. The signal output part outputs a signal corresponding to the movement of the detection part in the width direction. The control part performs control to the motor according to the aforementioned signal. The control part uses an equivalent value equivalent to a moving amount from a preset reference value a to the stop position, and move the detection part to the stop position according to the equivalent value and the signal output from the signal output part.
