PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To pay attention to a biological reaction mobilized for repairing a tissue injured by a disorder from a new viewpoint and provide a method for artificially compensating the biological reaction, namely to provide an oral medicine or an external preparation free from adverse effect and having sure effect and high safety.
SOLUTION: An agent or a food product having high tissue repairing properties comprises a plant of the genus Bidens, particularly Bidens pilosa L. or its ingredient in which promoting action on synthesis of collagen and glycosaminoglycan of a tissue injured by disorder to rebuild an extracellular matrix and promoting migration, extension and proliferation of skin fibroblast to accelerate repair of the tissue is recognized.
