The invention relates to a medical imaging system comprising an emission antenna array and a microwave receiving antenna array disposed around a volume for receiving a human tissue medium to be observed. The antennas are deployed in a dielectric material electromagnetically absorbing on certain parts or entirely. The two networks are independent and are able to be moved relative to the volume under observation, to allow scanning and acquisitions dedicated to a complete multistatic imaging process. L'invention concerne un système d'imagerie médicale comprenant un réseau d'antennes d'émission et un réseau d'antennes de réception micro-ondes disposés autour d'un volume destiné à recevoir un milieu de tissu humain à observer. Les antennes sont déployées dans un matériau diélectrique électromagnétiquement absorbant sur certaines parties ou entièrement. Les deux réseaux sont indépendants et sont aptes à être déplacés par rapport au volume sous observation, afin de permettre un balayage et des acquisitions dédiées à un traitement d'imagerie multistatique complète.
