The medical device 2 includes a filled syringe 3 and a package 21 in which the filled syringe 3 is disposed. The filled syringe 3 includes a syringe body 4 and a piston 16 slidably mounted in the syringe body 4. The syringe body 4 and the piston 16 define the area of the internal chamber 17 that contains the liquid to be administered. The package 21 includes a first package part 22 and a second package part 23 provided so as to be relatively displaceable between a storage form and an open form. In the storage mode, the first package part 22 and the second package part 23 prevent the filled syringe 3 from being detached from the package 21. In the open configuration, the first package part 22 and the second package part 23 allow the filled syringe 3 to be removed from the package 21.
