PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a heat radiation pathway for an imaging device housed within an endoscope distal end, and to reinforce the imaging device.SOLUTION: An electronic endoscope apparatus includes an endoscope including: an imaging device 23 connected to a processor device for processing image signals light guides 40a and 40b for emitting illumination light from a light source device into a subject through an illumination window and a forceps pipe inserted to a forceps outlet housed in an distal end part 12a. The rear surface of the imaging device 23 is closely fixed to the outer peripheral surface of the forceps pipe with an adhesive 41 to make the forceps pipe serve as a heat radiation pathway for the imaging device 23. With this structure, the forceps pipe can be also used as a reinforcing member for the imaging device 23 at the same time.
