PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which is excellent in fitness, followability to the movement of a wearer and a wearing feeling and easy to increase an absorption capacity as well.

SOLUTION: The absorbent article 1 is provided with a liquid permeable surface sheet, a back surface sheet 3 and an absorbent 4 interposed between both sheets, wherein each of both side parts 12, 12 in the longitudinal direction is extensible in the longitudinal direction. Also, both side parts S and S in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent 4 are made extensible in the longitudinal direction by having a plurality of division parts 41 or the like respectively, and a deviation stop agent is applied to a part overlapped with both side parts S and S of the absorbent 4 on the surface 31 facing clothing of the back surface sheet 3 in such a form as not to stride across the division part 41.
