The disclosed walking assisting robot comprises: a pair of lower extremity exoskeletons worn on a pair of legs of a user, and providing an external force to allow the legs to be moved and a main body for supporting the lower extremity exoskeletons, and moving in accordance with a walking speed and a walking direction of the user wearing the lower extremity exoskeletons. Each of the lower extremity exoskeletons includes: a first joint positioned to correspond to a position of a coxa of the user who stands up while wearing the lower extremity exoskeletons, and rotated by power in accordance with a rotational range of the coxa a second joint positioned to correspond to a position of a knee joint of the user, and rotated by power in accordance with a rotational range of the knee joint a footplate for supporting a foot of the user a first column for connecting the first and second joints and a second column for connecting the second joint and the footplate.
