An apparatus and process are provided for extracting juice from agricultural products and for efficiently distributing the juice. The apparatus and process generally includes receiving and handling produce, sorting and trimming produce, weighing and batching produce, sterilizing produce, and extracting juice from produce using a screw press. All processes are performed in the refrigerated state where the agricultural products are received, with respect to processes including the steps of filtering the juice, mixing / mixing the juice, and packaging the final juice in a bulk bag. By using bulk bags for packaging and subjecting the bulk bags to high pressure processing, food safety is ensured and distribution costs to remote locations around the world are significantly reduced.
