<；P>；PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a termite-preventing agent which is excellent in a termite-preventing performance and has enhanced safety for humans, beasts and environments. <；P>；SOLUTION: This termite-preventing agent is characterized by comprising an ingredient collected from a plant such as genus Pfaffia, Piper methysticum, genus Licopodium, Indian ginseng, Gomphrena haageana, Achyranthes fauriei, or Cocos nucifera fruit, fine silica powder, and a solvent. The suspension obtained thus is used for treating a termite-preventing site such as wood. The termite-preventing agent is highly safe for humans, beasts and environments, because of being originated from the natural product.
