The device includes a ground or floor engaging support structure 12 which supports an inclined treatment surface 14 on which, in use, a user stands in a treatment position. The treatment surface 14 is inclined at a treatment angle (30, figs 5 & 6) to a ground engaging plane so as to support the feet of the user at the treatment angle. The treatment surface slopes downwardly and inwardly towards at least one at least notional vertex (32, fig 4). The treatment surface may be provided by an insert (fig 2). The device may also have a first configuration when directed upwardly and a second configuration when the first treatment surface is directed downwardly. Two sets of feet 18 on the upper and lower surfaces enable this.
