A safety cover for a mower according to the present invention is installed in a mower including a blade coupled to a rotation shaft. The safety cover for a mower comprises: a disk-shaped base unit which is positioned in an upper portion of the blade, and has a through hole, through which the rotation shaft penetrates, formed at the center thereof a fixed cover which includes a side surface portion bent downward from the circumference of the base unit, and an open portion formed on one side thereof so that the blade is exposed to the outside and a rotary cover which is installed to be rotated with respect to the fixed cover, has a shape corresponding to that of the open portion, and opens and closes the open portion by a rotary motion. The mower can be pushed around while being in contact with the ground when performing the operation as the blade of the mower is spaced apart from the ground by a predetermined height.
