The present invention relates to a blade assembly for a lawn mower and more specifically, to a blade assembly for a lawn mower which protects the blade of the lawn mower from stone protruding from the ground, makes a bottom surface which is widely formed to come in contact with the ground； and is able to move stably as the lawn mower moves. The present invention for the forementioned includes: a drive motor which is installed in the end part of a working rod so that a user is able to grip and rotates a drive shaft； a blade which rotates by being installed in the drive shaft and cuts objects protruding from the ground； a bearing which is positioned in the lower part of the blade and is combined with the drive shaft； and a protective plate which is combined with the bearing by being positioned in the lower side of the bearing and protects the blade which rotates from objects protruding from the ground.본 발명은 예초기용 칼날 어셈블리에 관한 것으로서 더욱 상세하게는 지면에 돌출되는 돌 등으로부터 예초기의 칼날을 보호하고 어느 정도 넓게 형성되는 바닥면이 지면에 안착되어 예초기가 이동됨에 따라 안정적인 이동이 가능한 예초기용 칼날 어셈블리에 관한 것이다.이를 위해 본 발명은 사용자가 그리핑하기 위한 작업봉 단부에 설치되며 구동축을 회전시키는 구동모터와； 상기 구동축에 축설되어 회전하며 지면에 돌출되는 피절단물을 절단하는 칼날과； 상기 칼날의 하부에 위치하여 상기 구동축과 결합되는 베어링과； 상기 베어링의 하부측에 위치하여 베어링과 결합되며 지면으로부터 돌출되는 돌출물로부터 회전하는 칼날을 보호하기 위한 보호플레이트；를 포함하여 이루어진다.
