PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power enhancer for flying insect pest control which is blended in a composition for flying insect pest control applicable to household objects to be pest-controlled, especially screen doors, and notably enhances a flying insect pest controlling effect, and to provide a flying insect pest control method using the same.SOLUTION: A power enhancer for flying insect pest control comprises a glycol ether compound having a special structure, represented by diethylene glycol monophenyl ether(phenyl diglycol), ethylene glycol monobenzyl ether(benzyl glycol), dipropylene glycol monobutyl ether, propylene glycol monophenyl ether(PGMP), and ethylene glycol monoallyl ether. The enhancer is blended in a composition for flying insect pest control containing at least one pyrethroid compound including cyfluthrin as an insect pest control ingredient.【課題】家屋の防除対象物、特に網戸を処理する飛翔害虫防除用組成物に配合されるとともに、飛翔害虫防除効果を顕著に高め得る飛翔害虫防除効力増強剤、及びこれを用いた飛翔害虫防除方法の提供。【解決手段】ジエチレングリコールモノフェニルエーテル（フェニルジグリコール）、エチレングリコールモノベンジルエーテル（ベンジルグリコール）、ジプロピレングリコールモノブチルエーテル、プロピレングリコールモノフェニルエーテル（ＰＧＭＰ）、エチレングリコールモノアリルエーテルなどに代表される特定構造を有するグリコールエーテル化合物であって、かつ、少なくともシフルトリンを含む１種以上のピレスロイド系化合物を害虫防除成分として含有する飛翔害虫防除用組成物に配合される飛翔害虫防除効力増強剤。【選択図】なし
