To provide a flying pest repellent composition that contains several particular flying pest repellent components and exhibits a significantly superior repellent effect than conventional ones by specifying incorporation ratio of the particular flying pest repellent components, and a flying pest repellent agent blended with the flying pest repellent composition.SOLUTION FOR THE PROBLEM: The flying pest repellent composition is provided which contains, as a flying pest repellent component, at least linalool, terpineol and an allyl ester compound of a fatty acid having 5 to 10 carbon atoms, and in which the incorporation ratio [(a)/(b)] of the total amount (a) of linalool and terpineol to the allyl ester compound (b) of a fatty acid having 5 to 10 carbon atoms is in the range of 0.3 to 5.0.
