PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seedling raising container which rarely causes root clogging and has high biodegradability.SOLUTION: The seedling raising container has the following characteristics: (1) the seedling raising container is made by using a polylactic acid cloth and sewn portions thereof sewn with sewing threads can be optionally undone (2) the sewn portions are formed via single-chain stitches or double-chain stitches and (3) the polylactic acid cloth includes one of woven fabric, knit fabric, needle-punched nonwoven fabric, spunlace nonwoven fabric, and spunbonded nonwoven fabric.
