PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a table device including a table with an orientation-changeable upper face and a table with an orientation-fixed upper face, inhibiting lateral protrusion from the tables, and being non-obstructive for persons in the vicinity, and a chair device including the table device.SOLUTION: A table device 20 includes: a table body 24 having a first top board 250 and a second top board 240； a table support part 23 for supporting the table body 24； and a base part 21 for supporting the table support part 23 in the manner of a cantilever.
